‘Switching your mind off and turning your brain on’
Thursday 17th May 2012

You started out as a single cell. That cell subdivided into two cells exactly the same. Then it subdivided again and again until at some point it begins to differentiate into the different embryonic tissues which in turn become the stem cells for the entire body. This is a miracle by anyones standards. The miracle doesn’t stop there, though, it continues for your entire life because this same power that made your body remains with your body till death. Think about it, 30 trillion cells give or take a few are working together right now to enable you to read this article, sit in that chair, grow your hair, regulate your breath and heart beat. Every cell is undergoing thousands of chemical processes. The conscious rational mind struggles to comprehend such enormous complexity but your own brain and nervous system is not only monitoring all these processes but it is also acting and reacting simultaneously.

Every drug that the medical profession manufactures, your body already does it and does it better at just the right dosage. You want a paracetamol, well your body has endorphins which are 200 times more effective without side effects like liver toxicity.

Respect what you have and it will take care of you well into “Old Age”. Disrespect it and abuse it and suffer the consequences.
